Sure enough, the pharmacy said a PDF wasn’t acceptable. “We need it faxed directly from the doctor.” Faxed. In this day and age. I pleaded, argued—nothing worked. Reluctantly, I called my doctor friend again.
She calmly said, “That’s normal.”

So… fax it was. Straight back to the 1990s.
